A Voice in the Wilderness

Hundreds of years before John the Baptist became the “a voice one calling in the desert, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord’” (Matt. 3:3), and 100 years before Judah’s fall, Isaiah encouraged the people to make way for God’s future rescue from Assyria. Another two thousand years later, we’re still called to make way for God to come into our world and into our hearts.
