Pastor of Worship
I grew up in Queens, NY (yes, I root for the Eagles, except when they are playing the Giants :) so I guess I’m a city boy at heart. My father was a pastor, as was my great-grandfather, so I’ve always been a part of ministry and learned how to serve Christ by serving others at an early age. I came to know the Lord as my Savior when I was very young.
I’ve always been involved in music in one way or another, and attended Nyack College where I received my degree in Music Education. From there, I taught music for a few years. I’ve played in many bands over the years, and used my music in many ways, but always felt lead to use it for Christ. After working in Philly, doing the corporate thing for almost 20 years, Jesus called me to Easton to serve full time as the Pastor of Worship. I love seeing God use music to speak to our hearts, and when we are willing to be authentic in our worship of Him, how he changes us to look more like Him.
I am also the director of Re:Generation (Re:Gen) for short. Along the way, God has put on my heart the need for a biblically based, Recovery/Discipleship program here at EBC. We are all broken in some way, and God wants us to fully experience the “New Life in Christ” that He has promised (2 Corinthains 5:17). To find out more go to the RECOVERY section of our website.
In my spare time I like to fish and ride my motorcycle. I love to cook, and my happy place is hanging out by a campfire. I was also a volunteer fire fighter for 10 years (no connection to the campfires :)
My wife Jen and I met in college, and we have 4 kids. 2 still with us here, and 2 waiting for us in heaven. We have two beautiful grandkids, and hope many more will follow! We love it here at EBC and would love to meet you if we haven’t yet.
