This week, as we look at the opening to the book of Ecclesiastes, we want to dig into what Solomon calls hevel (“meaningless” or “vanity”), which Solomon spends several verses describing.

What exactly does Solomon mean by hevel? In what ways is life characterized by hevel? And how does that truth point us towards the life that God wants for us?
